Marma's Heather, a sable and white Sheltie, joined us in 2006, from Marma Farms. Gail Gordon breeds beautiful Shelties, and Marma's Heather is certainly no exception. I know that Heather is going to prove to be a valuable part of our Sheltie breeding program, and is already a valuable part of our family. Thank you, Gail, for allowing us to bring this sweet little girl into our home. Heather is a non-white-factored, tri-factored sable Shetland Sheepdog, out of Champion Marma's Sportscaster, by Somerfield Licorice Stick, bred by Gail Gordon.

In Memory Of

Here at Bethune Shelties, we are still in mourning for our beloved Belle. Belle was, without a doubt, the smartest dog (of any breed) that I have ever met. She adored her family, seeming to live only to make her "people" happy. Belle came to live with us on Valentine's Day 2004, and was lost on June 27, 2006. To lose her was to lose a family member, and I want to thank all of you who understand that. You have blessed us with your thoughts, prayers, phone calls, and emails in this terrible time and helped me get through one of the most difficult times in my life. Thank you all.

In Memory Of
Angie
"Angie", our first sable merle, gave me my very first litter of Sheltie puppies years ago. When she retired she joined a wonderful family, the "Best's" of Georgia. With her new owner Brittany, and at a rather advanced age for a Shetland Sheepdog she began agility and obedience training and proved that you truly can teach an old dog new tricks. Angie passed away in 2007, and those of us who knew and loved her will never forget this very special girl.

In memory of "Angie", gone, but never forgotten.
